MEETING REPORT: WEDNESDAY 7th DECEMBER 2005
Wednesday 7th December 2005, St Michael's Hotel, Falmouth.

Faulkes Observation Debrief - Brian Thomas
Brian talkled members through the various images that had been obtained from our observation on 3/12/05. There was much discussion on the appearance of the target objects, M74, M76 and M77 which had been photographed through various filters. It is intended to build a Faulkes gallery in the public area of our website and to upload the raw data for members into the Member's Area.

Planning Our Next Use of the Faulkes Telescope - Brian Thomas
The CPR Learning Centre at Camborne have very kindly agreed to provide us with another half hour observing session. Brain has booked this for Saturday 28th January 2006. Members spent a very enjoyable time considering possible target objects using star charts and our Stary Night planetarium programme. Further ideas of suggested objects should be emailed to Brian.

WebCam of Stars and Planets - Robin Hughes
Robin showed us images that he had obtained of the Trapezium in the Orion Nebula, using an unmodified webcam. He also showed us some impressive images of Mars, Venus and Saturn. A selection of these will be placed in our webcam gallery.
